SCDD is a member of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) a network of interdisciplinary centers advancing policy and practice for and with individuals with developmental and other disabilities, their families, and communities through research, education, and service. There are 67 UCEDDs across the country with at least one center found in every state and territory in the U.S. Each UCEDD is affiliated with a major research university.

At the Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center, SCDD is part of the division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. We have been collaborating with the disability community in upstate New York for the last 40 years, providing leadership in developmental disabilities research, policy, service and education.
