The Ohio State University Nisonger Center was founded in 1966, among the first group of federally funded University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. We are widely respected for our interdisciplinary research, education and clinical services. The Nisonger Center is proud to be part of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Office of Health Sciences. We have a strong and dynamic team of researchers, clinicians, teachers, staff and trainees who strive to improve the lives of persons with disabilities and their families across the lifespan.
