The article analyzes the types of violence among children with disabilities. It describes a study in which prevalence and relative risk of violence were assessed by a systematic review that involved screening of more than 10,000 references, online and otherwise, of terms related to disability and victimisation. The result found that the prevalence was high, with youth with psychological and physical disabilities experiencing physical violence, sexual victimisation, emotional abuse and neglect.
