The article discusses best practices for interviewing children with disabilities who have been subjected to some kind of abuse in the U.S. It is mentioned that to start with, the type and extent of disabilities should be identified. Also, in cases of attention deficit disorders, the medication usage and the school involvement in treatment should be examined. Additionally, for children having autism, it is important to identify their specific disorder like language and verbal disabilities.
